Michelle Berger, MSW, RD, LD holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Indiana University in Bloomington, and a Master of Science in Social Work, with a concentration in Mental Health, from Washington University in St. Louis.  

Michelle completed her dietetic internship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas in 2007.  During her internship she was exposed to many healthcare systems and patient populations while gaining a strong background in Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Michelle has worked in a variety of eating disorder treatment settings over the years which has given her extensive experience working with clients at all stages of recovery. Since returning to Dallas in 2011, Michelle worked as the Director of Nutrition Services at The Renfrew Center of Texas, and founded NourishED Counseling, LLC.  Prior to joining Renfrew, Michelle worked at Castlewood Treatment Center in St. Louis, a residential eating disorder treatment center, where she gained invaluable training and experience in the treatment of eating disorders.  

Michelle remains actively involved in the field of nutrition and clinical social work, both with a specific concentration in eating disorders and weight management.
